Quirky, charismatic, flexible. Not only can he play any character, he can play them brilliantly. | What would his signature style be?
| He would wear a buttonup shirt and jeans, no tie or jacket. He would have an American accent, which would be new. He would be the calm one (though have sparks of energy), but very funny, not to be confused with a straight man. He would be very animated and use his hands to talk. He would also have the Wash-like characteristic of enjoying playing with little plastic toys. | Potential Companion?
| Summer Glau. She we be almost 10th Doctor like; very excited and sometimes loud. She would be th only one that the Doctor would listen to (her opinion) and would be very good at disturbing his calm. She would be a dancer of course, because she's Summer Glau, which would make her good at running and dodging things (which is essential in Doctor Who. She would often tease Alan, but she wouldn't be as cheeky as Donna. One flaw would be that she wouldn't doubt his decisions but would be the first one to help him clean things up and say "I knew this wouldn't work!"

| Down to Earth but still jokes around, sharply intelligent and collected. A strong level-headed character, but if he was pushed, he could snap in a second. No second chances, much like the Tenth Doctor.
Projects a straight-laced seriousness and mystery, but exhibits a great deal of whimsy and adventurousness.
Garfield's sharp wit and estuary temperment suggest a devilishly clever Doctor. We know for The Social Network that he can play aloof, angry and even betrayed/lonely (the secret shame of the last Time Lord), but at the still time, he's partial to moments of divine inspiration and boldness.
Garfield's serious temperment would be appropriate for the Doctor's last remaining chance of regeneraton incarnation, and could accurately portray the worry of a Time Lord reaching the end of his life. I think Garfield would be able to convincingly act the Doctor's final regen cycle when it comes to pass, and the despair associated with the end of the doctor's 2nd chances.

A tight-fitting black business shirt and alternating silver/white ties (contrast to the shirt.) and a grey waist-coat (matching the pants) On top of this, a knee-length black trench coat. Possibly styling his hair in a swept-aside mop or a neat spiked fashion. | Potential Companion?
