| Occupation: Exiled Time Lord/Time Traveler
| Personality type: Very impatient in the company of bureaucrat and military types, as well as his own immediate predecessor. Would much rather circumvent such "nitwits".
| Signature Style: Velvet smoking jackets and inverness capes gives the Third Doctor the accurate description of "The Dandy Doctor". While on Earth during his exile, he made use of a yellow roadster he named Bessie, and was rarely seen without her.
| Abilities: Uses Venusian Aikido to great effect; is an excellent fencer
| Interests: Loves to tinker with gadgets, more so than any other incarnation. He also practically lived in his laboratory and gives off a classic scientist persona.
| Strengths: Quick with the tongue ( he might lose an argument, but he *will* get his say and digs in ); due to his forced exile on Earth, the Doctor forged a strong relationship with UNIT, and both factions benefited the other.
| Weaknesses: Though he never trusted the Master, he had a penchant of working with his arch nemesis from time to time, and undoubtedly that placed him and Jo Grant at great risk; has trouble working together with some people, notably with the Second Doctor, so much so that the Time Lords had to send the First Doctor himself to effect a better working relationship between his two immediate successors ( The Three Doctors ).
| Virtues: Arguably the most physical of all the incarnations and although wouldn't hesitate to use force if called for, this Doctor still prefers diplomacy as the preferred solution.
| Vices: Has a taste for wine.
| Endearing trait(s): Shows a paternal side of himself in regards to Jo Grant; after a strained relationship with the Brigadier, they both gradually show a grudging respect towards one another.
| Annoying trait(s): Had an occasional tendency to talk down to his companions, particularly his first two, but with the more spirited Sarah Jane Smith, not so much.
| Secret(s): To date, the Third Doctor is the only incarnation to sport a tattoo on one arm. Rumor has it that this is the mark of an exiled Time Lord, which would make sense in his case.
